I was born in Shanghai and have lived and studied in both northern and southern
regions of China. I completed my post-graduate work in Wellington, New Zealand,
receiving an M.A. in Education, and am fluent in Mandarin, Shanghainese and English.
Presently, I reside in Los Angeles, California.
I have many years of experience teaching Mandarin Chinese to students of all ages
and levels of accomplishment, both children and adults, from one-on-one tutoring
to university classrooms to running successful corporate and government Chinese
language training programs.
Each student is important to me; I am sincerely enthusiastic and committed to all
who desire to learn the Chinese language, culture and customs, whether for doing
business in China or for personal growth.
